L.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Resumo:<\/strong> Sensores virtuais t\u00eam sido utilizados nas ind\u00fastrias que visam mais lucro e menos custos, j\u00e1 que s\u00e3o sensores baseados em software, portanto n\u00e3o est\u00e3o sujeitos a danos f\u00edsicos, como os sensores reais. Eles podem ser implantados em ambientes hostis, sem comprometer as medidas. Este sucesso foi alcan\u00e7ado devido \u00e0s t\u00e9cnicas de intelig\u00eancia computacional, que t\u00eam sido muito utilizadas na modelagem de processos n\u00e3o-lineares e de alta complexidade. Este trabalho explora a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de sensores virtuais em uma importante Ind\u00fastria Brasileira de Alum\u00ednio, cujo processo \u00e9 muito complexo e as medi\u00e7\u00f5es de temperatura s\u00e3o dif\u00edceis, devido \u00e0 natureza corrosiva do material, o que consome muitos recursos operacionais.
