The journal is committed with the use of persistent identifiers for both, papers and researchers. Therefore, all papers are permanently indexed with DOI and researchers are requested to include their ORCID identifier along the paper submission. All papers are open-access and there is no publication fee. The journal publishes papers reporting theoretical and practical advances in the several areas of<br \/>\nComputational Intelligence.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2 style=\"float: left; margin-top: 0px; color: #294a70; width: 100%;\">SPECIAL ISSUE<\/h2>\n<p>Researchers are invited to submit high-quality papers and surveys with focus on the most recent advances in Applications of Computational Intelligence (CI) in Healthcare. The scope of this special issue includes, but it is not limited to, the<br \/>\nfollowing topics:<br \/>\n\u2022 CI in Telemedicine<br \/>\n\u2022 CI in Medical Image Analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 Computer-aided diagnosis based on CI<br \/>\n\u2022 Decision support systems based on CI<br \/>\n\u2022 CI in Bioinformatics<br \/>\n\u2022 Data analytics and mining for biomedical decision support<br \/>\n\u2022 Methodological, philosophical, ethical, and social issues of CI in healthcare<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"float: left; margin-top: 0px; color: #294a70; width: 100%;\">SUBMISSION<\/h2>\n<p>Manuscripts must be written in English and prepared according to the journal template available at:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/sbia.org.br\/lnlm\/instrucoes-para-autores. The PDF version (10-15 pages for regular papers, and 15-20 pages for surveys) should be submitted to the guest editors by email (fabricio@utfpr.edu.br , rtinos@ffclrp.usp.br). Papers will be peer-reviewed. Papers previously published in conferences can be submitted as long as they are extended, improving their quality and adding some new experiments\/results.
